_____
The Isabel bodysuit is constructed from a rib Tencel™ Modal fabric. Tencel™ Modal is a sustainable fabric with botanical origins. Modal fibres are derived from raw beech wood material from sustainable forests. Their fine fibres attribute to moisture absorption providing breathability as well as superb softness and comfort.
The fibres are ‘dope-dyed’ where the fibres are dyed first, rather than being woven into the desired fabric then dyed. This process provides superior colour retention to the fabric even after repeated washing and wear. Less waste water is produced during dope-dying and lower energy consumption. Modal fibres are also certified biodegradable and compostable.
